The Halifax AYSO is the only recreational soccer commuity in halifax county. Girls and boys ages four to eighteen of all skill levels can participate in the fall and spring seasons .
The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide the best experience for all levels of player in a non-competitive structure. Players start at a young age with plenty to learn in our recreational program. The youngest players start with fewer players on the field, no goalies and coaches out on the field with them . As they age, the game changes. Field size, number of players and ball size increase, and At U8 goalies and referees are added . This progressive process is designed in an age-appropriate manner that grows with the child.
Halifax AYSO welcomes all children of all skill levels to play. We believe that soccer offers kids the ability to meet new challenges and learn how to be part of a team. While meeting new and old friends to build confidence and communication skills that last a lifetime.
